Echinacea 'Pretty Parasols' grows best in full sun, but tolerates partial shade and is adaptable to many soil types. This Echinacea hybrid was discovered in Belgium by a famous horticulturist, Jan Spruyt, by chance seeding in a coneflower field in Buggenhout, Belgium; according to the filed patent, 'Pretty Parasols' is a hybrid of two Echinacea purpurea cultivars. 'Pretty Parasols' is deer tolerant and attracts bees and butterflies and maintains an upright behavior through multiple seasons.
